Mathilde Rosaline Heuer was born in Voightshagen on 04 July, 1863 to (Peter) Friedrich Heuer and Engel Kasten. Her father was born Peter Heuer, but did not use that name, preferring to use "Friedrich".
The family lived in Voightshagen. Engel, her mother, had been born in Zedlin to Martin Kasten and Dorothea Steckling on 31 October 1820.
(Peter) Friedrich Heuer, from Arnsberg, and Engel Kasten , were married in Zedlin on 22 December 1843. Their children were as follows: Friedrich David born 11 April 1844, Marie Dorothea born 03 November 1846, Wilhelm Alfred Ferdinand born 07 December 1848, *Ferdinand August born 21 July 1851, August Friedrich born 24 January 1855, Albert Gustav born 10 January 1857, Bertha Mathilde born 20 October 1859.
Mathilde Rosaline was baptized on 12 July 1863. Her baptismal sponsors were Maria Krause nee Plack (Frau Friederich Krause), Maria Rolle and Ferdinand Moeller.
Mathilde would have been twenty years old in 1893, but efforts to find more information about her and her marriage, were not successful. The film on which her birth was found ended with 1874, the year that civil records began to be used. There are probably children from her marriage to Gronau, but those were not found either. The fact that her death marker was found with her death date, defines the fact that she lived there until her death May 21, 1911.
